Testimony
I was raised in a Christian home, and "think" I may have been saved at age 6, but when I was at our C & MA church camp at age 10, (Delta Lake, Rome, NY ), I wanted to make SURE I belonged to Jesus, that if I were to die that night, I would go to Heaven. With my camp counselor, I got on my knees and confessed my sinful nature and need of a Savior. I asked Jesus Christ to be my Savior and Lord, and turned my life over to Him. A year later I was baptized in Delta Lake. I attended Toccoa Falls Academy, Georgia, a Christian boarding high school, and studied at Northeastern Bible College for 2 1/2 years. Though I grew in my walk with the Lord, I also fell into sin for a time - but in God's grace and mercy, He didn't let me stay in the pit for long, but rescued me and set my feet back on solid ground. Since my early adult years, I have been steadily reaching for the goal of holiness and a righteous life, sharing the Gospel in my concerts along with my testimony. I love the Lord with all my heart, and seek every day to serve Him, lift up His name, and give Him the glory in everything.
I have a godly husband, whose passion is teaching creation vs. evolution, and who is a professor at The Master's College, Santa Clarita, CA. Our 4 children are grown and married, and each are walking with the Lord with their spouses - and they are in the process of raising 8 godly grandchildren.
